Camp Kesem was a volunteer based program at UNC Chapel Hill, I was contacted by the Triangle Down's Syndrome network to be a one on one counselor with a special needs child. I helped the child get involved with daily camp activities, and other life skills. I learned how easily children accept one another regardless of differences.
