The only close replacement I can think of for the Taurus PT945 would be the Taurus PT38s. Same pistol but in the 38Super round. Of course if you wanted to go 9mm then the Taurus PT909 would fit the bill. But, in the end even with the PT945 being few and far between the two others are even more so. Easy-Peasy. First remove the extractor by driving the pin out. That pin has a head so it is removed from inside the slide to outside, see below schematic #4.
