I cleared code, d/c battery, installed new coil & icm. After couple tries the truck started, threw same code again, but drove down the road fine.

Remove the filter and start blowing air in the fuel flow direction. If the air finds it difficult to flow, then there can be issues with the fuel filter. You can replace a new filter to get rid of the solution. If the fuel pump works perfectly, then check the crankshaft position sensor.
