Best way to get them is to get the plans for the gun and crafting & scrapping them until learning the mods you want. Just a fair warning, ultracite laser gun isn't really worth the trouble, AFAIK it still misses some of the standard laser gun's mods and standard lasers have higher damage, especially if running full auto. #1.

Of those three, the Gatling Laser, but the Ultracite Gatling Laser (same exact stats as the non Ultracite except +5 base damage) and Gatling plasma (Higher Damage per shot, slower firerate, better dps) are the best well rounded heavies imo and the best ones for boss fights. They are also the most cost effective.

Ult gat lasers are actually pretty good. They're damage isn't that great but it's not bad either. They also make up for it with 0 recoil, extreme accuracy, and 999 rounds per core. They are dismal when compared to a fixer or railway rifle. Anything ultracite plan just drop from Scorched Earth event Yes its just regular gatling laser but only different is laser is different Just craft Prime Receiver to make it can use ultracite fusion cores drop fusion cores if it still use normal one,then reload and pickup that fusion cores again

For the Gatling laser, I think that the charging laser does a lot better against armour and heavier opponents. It's a big boost. +42 damage per hit.
