Buy HK and you won't have as many issues later on. Yes it's difficult to obtain under MSRP, have patience and keep saving, eventually it will start flowing again.I'd go PTR, I have three of their weapons and 2/3s were great out of the box. My 91 had to go back for a new hammer, great service with immediate response to emails and 3 week turn ; PTR paid the shipping both ways. I'd still go PTR if all 3 had needed returns, just to keep from having to deal with Century!!!! YMMV. 😄

My PTR9CT has worked perfectly with HK, MKE, POF, and the PTR mags that came with it (supposedly KCI). The best bargain mags are the POF mags, if you can find them. Usually about $30 each. The MKE mags are really good too, but cost twice as much. I've not tried any plastic mags.
